FAQ
Which size do I need?
The Ø before shrinking must fit over the thickest part, the Ø after shrinking must be smaller than the cable. Each article shows a guide value for the cable or bundle diameter.
With or without adhesive?
With adhesive when the joint must be waterproof or needs strain relief (outdoor, under-body, trailer lighting). Without adhesive for insulation, marking and bundling.
How is it sold?
Per dispenser box, roll or pack, excl. VAT. The price per metre or per piece is shown for comparison. You always order whole sales units.
What temperature is needed to shrink it?
Polyolefin heat-shrink typically shrinks from about 90–120 °C; adhesive-lined tubing needs enough heat for the adhesive to flow. Use a hot-air gun; an open flame only with care, as it can scorch the tubing.
