Product context
High-temperature single core for locations where PVC vehicle cable would harden or melt: exhaust-gas temperature and NOx sensor leads, auxiliary and parking heaters, engine-bay repairs close to the manifold, and cab heater elements. Not a substitute for ISO 6722 cable in normal harness runs.
Select the conductor cross-section on the current of the circuit and the cable length: 0.35–1.0 mm² for signals and sensors, 1.5–2.5 mm² for lighting and most control circuits, 4.0–6.0 mm² for high-load consumers, and 10 mm² and above for supply, battery and earth leads. When in doubt, go one size up — voltage drop on 24 V trailers is a common cause of lighting faults.
